Christ the Lord is Risen Again - (John Rutter)
John Rutter (1945-) has done much to popularize choral music through his record label, Collegium Records, which records his own choir, the Cambridge Singers. In Britain, it is customary for the Archbishop of Canterbury to occasionally grant very distinguished English cathedral musicians the Lambeth Doctorate (Mus. D. Cantaur). Rutter received his in 1996. --

A film crew working with Detroit Public Television will be filming portions of the Maundy Thursday service for an upcoming documentary on metro area houses of worship. Our portion in the documentary will be brief, but if you would prefer not to be filmed, please sit on the sides toward the back of the church that evening. Once the documentary is scheduled to air we run a notice of the date in the bulletin.
The Just for Fun, Bring a Friend series continues with a No-More-Winter photo show and potluck on Sunday, April 27. We need your photographs! We’re looking for your personal bests or favorites. We’re looking for beautiful, charming, funny, or meaningful. We are not looking for the grandeur of winter. No photos of ice or snow! Please send up to five of your best shots to and come celebrate victory over winter on April 27, at 5:30 pm, in the Parish Hall.

Labyrinth Walk: On Friday, May 16, you are invited to join in a visit/pilgrimage to the Weber Conference Center in Adrian, Michigan, in order to walk the beautiful outdoor labyrinth on the grounds of the Adrian Dominican Motherhouse. Registration forms are at the Information table. Please register by Monday, May 12 either at the church office in person or by mail with cash or check for $8 payable to St. Andrew’s, using the bottom portion of the registration form. Call either Bernadette Pelland (734-769-9413) or Ann Garvin (734-663-4075) for further information.
