The Saint Andrew's Adult Choir

Adult Choir performs

Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:15 - 9:15 pm

Participation in the Adult Choir is open to anyone, regardless of experience or ability.

The Adult Choir participates regularly at 10:00 am Holy Eucharist on Sunday mornings during the choir season (September to May). It leads congregational singing and presents offertory anthems and other liturgical music. The Adult Choir also participates in occasional Evensong services, special liturgies, and concerts.

The choir's repertoire spans all musical periods, with an emphasis on literature from the Anglican choral tradition.

The Compline Choir

Compline Singers

Rehearsals: Sundays, 6:45 - 7:30 pm, September through April

Participation in this choir is by audition only, please contact Deborah Friauff for requirements and audition.

The Compline Singers perform at weekly services of Compline as well as special performances throughout the concert season.

Due to our limited rehearsal time, Compline singers need to be able to read music and learn it independently, match pitch with good tone quality and be able to blend with other singers.

The Saint Dunstan Handbell Choir

Handbell Choir Performs

Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:45 pm

To ring with this group, the ability to read music and some musical experience is helpful.

Made up of ringers of all ages, the St. Dunstan Handbell Choir is one of the "oldest" handbell choirs in the area and an honored part of St. Andrew's history for more than 40 years. Playing on a four-octave set of Malmark English handbells, this ensemble presents music for worship once a month at the 10:00 am Holy Eucharist on Sunday mornings. This is largely an adult ensemble, but younger ringers are also welcome!

Easter Musicians

Please contact Deborah Friauff to schedule instrumental offerings.

Any and all instrumentalists are also welcome to offer special music throughout the year, both at the 10:00 am Holy Eucharist and at the 9:15 am Family Service. The Family Service provides a special opportunity for budding musicians to perform in public the pieces they prepare in lessons while inspiring the tiniest members of our congregation with their talent and hard work.
