Confirmation

Fr. Alan will offer a series of four classes for adults new to the Episcopal Church who would like to be confirmed or received from the Roman Catholic, Lutheran or Orthodox churches during Lent 2020. Each session will last about one hour. Long-time Episcopalians who would like a refresher course are welcome to join us, too.

Confirmation will be offered after Easter 2020 at a time and place yet to be determined.

If you would like more information, or have questions, please contact Kathy McPherson, Parish Administrator.

About Confirmation and Reception

Should I be Confirmed or Received?
If you are an adult joining the Episcopal faith from the Roman Catholic, Lutheran or Orthodox church, and have already been confirmed, then you should be "received". Those joining from other churches (Baptist, Methodist, etc.) should be "confirmed".

What is Confirmation?
In the most simple of terms, it is a public, adult, affirmation of faith.
