2018 Confirmation and Reception: November 18

Bishop Gibbs will visit us on Sunday, November 18, 2018. The service of Confirmation and Reception will be offered at 10:00 am. Fr. Alan will offer a series of four classes for adults new to the Episcopal Church who would like to be confirmed or received from the Roman Catholic, Lutheran or Orthodox churches.

Classes will meet in the chapel on Sunday, September 16, 23, 30, October 7 at 11:30 am. Each session will last about one hour. Long-time Episcopalians who would like a refresher course are welcome to join us, too.

If you would like more information, or have questions, please contact Kathy McPherson, Parish Administrator.

About Confirmation and Reception

Should I be Confirmed or Received?
If you are an adult joining the Episcopal faith from the Roman Catholic, Lutheran or Orthodox church, and have already been confirmed, then you should be "received". Those joining from other churches (Baptist, Methodist, etc.) should be "confirmed".

What is Confirmation?
In the most simple of terms, it is a public, adult, affirmation of faith.
